Johnny Holliday guests on "Magical History Tour" October 27, 2006.....

DC radio great Johnny Holliday guested in-studio with DCRTV webmaster Dave Hughes (right, above) and Rusty Gibson (center, above) on his "Magical History Tour" show on Fairfax Public Access's WEBR radio - via cable TV and the internet - on Friday, 10/27/06. Raised in Miami, and after gigs in Rochester, Cleveland ("top 40" WHK), NYC ("top 40" WINS), and San Francisco ("top 40" KYA), and working on NBC's "Hullabaloo" music TV show, Holliday arrived in DC in 1969. For many years, Holliday did the morning show on adult-oriented popular music outlet WWDC. And then he moved on to full service WMAL, where he got into sports and has covered nine Olympics games for ABC Sports. The voice of the Maryland Terrapins football and basketball teams for more than two decades, Holliday and his wife live in Kensington.
